20 fund managers reject stewardship code

Apax Partners and PGIM Fixed Income are among those opting out of signing up to the FRC's transparency policy

20 fund managers reject stewardship code

Twenty investment firms have removed themselves as signatories to the Financial Reporting Council’s Stewardship Code after being told in November that they needed to make "significant reporting improvements", and being given six months to do so.

Private equity firms Apax Partners and Dunedin, and fund manager PGIM Fixed Income no longer appear on the list of firms which have signed up to the code. The firms did not respond to requests for comment.
