3A Alternative Asset Advisors, the Geneva-based fund of hedge funds with just over $2bn (€1.63bn) in assets under management, has hired Marie-Claire Panayiotopoulos as head of UK business development. She is the first person to be dedicated solely to UK market coverage.

Panayiotopoulos will focus on building relationships and structuring products suited specifically to UK investors.
