UK private equity house 3i has set up a venture capital advisory board which will work alongside the company's partners on technology and healthcare deals.

The advisory board members will offer strategic insight in their fields of expertise to 3i portfolio companies, help 3i during the due diligence process and assist with sourcing the best entrepreneurs and start-ups, especially at an early stage of development, the firm said.
