3i, the European venture capitalist, has signed a letter of intent to buy the directory business of Sonera, the Finnish telcom company, marking 3i's third deal in two days.

At €125m ($112m), it may also be 3i's largest deal. Sonera is selling Sonera Info Communications, which it owns wholly owns, as well as its subsidiary's minority holdings in Conduit, 118 Ltd and Sonera's direct stakes in Suomen Keltaiset Sivut and Suomen Numeropalvelu.
