One of the UK's new public sector pensions mega-pools has appointed its first chief executive, a week after naming the former head of the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association as its chair.
Andrew Warwick-Thompson has been appointed CEO of the LGPS Central Pension Pool, the institution has announced. He is currently executive director for regulatory policy at the UK’s Pensions Regulator, but will leave the organisation for his new role in July.
