StanChart says 48,000 bankers are working hybrid after pandemic overhaul

Close to 48,000 Standard Chartered employees are now working in a formal hybrid pattern after the bank overhauled its working practices during the pandemic.

The UK lender was the first of any major bank to unveil an official flexible working programme in November 2020 after the first wave of Covid-19 forced hundreds of thousands of bankers away from the office.
