70% profit drop hits pay at hedge fund Lansdowne Partners

Profits at Lansdowne Partners plummeted last year, after negative returns across most of its fund range dragged down revenues at the $19bn European hedge fund firm.

Revenues declined 63% to £154m in the year to the end of March 2017, according to accounts filed at Companies House this week.
