You're a brave man, Gordon Brown

After Tony Blair's visit to Goldman Sachs a few weeks back, Lehman Brothers managed to persuade Gordon Brown, the UK Chancellor, to open its brand new offices at Canary Wharf last week (there being no decent UK investment banks left for the political bigwigs to visit).

Here he is looking particularly grumpy with Lehman high supremo Richard Fuld. Could it be that he has heard about how Jeremy Isaacs, head of Lehman Brothers outside the US, is being assiduously courted by the Conservative Party as it goes about raising money in the City? Isaacs is a great fan of Brown but is still in two minds about who he is going to vote for.
