Michel Péretié, 53, joined Bear Stearns in London in June 2000 as a senior managing director, director of Bear Stearns International and head of fixed income and derivatives for Europe and Asia, including Japan.

He is a member of the Bear Stearns International Limited board, chairman of the board of Bear Stearns Japan Limited, and one of the three members of the Bear Stearns International Limited executive committee for Europe.
