Aberdeen backs Synexus MBO

Aberdeen Murray Johnstone Private Equity has backed the £4m (&euro6.3m) management buy-out of Synexus, Europe's largest clinic management organisation for finding and treating patients in clinical trials.

Synexus was formed in April 1998 by the merger of the Edgebright Partnership and the clinical trials division of AEA technology. It has 10 clinical research centres in the UK employing more than 100 staff.
