Aberdeen expands property business with Dutch purchase

Aberdeen Asset Management has acquired RREEF from Robeco, the Dutch financial services provider, for £5.8m (€9.3m) plus the value of the net assets at completion, expected to amount to approximately £1.5m.

The purchase will increase Aberdeen's property assets under management from £4.2bn to £5.9bn based on the property assets under management on March 31, 2001, including £1.9bn of assets managed by the Celexa Group, the Swedish property firm acquired by Aberdeen earlier this month.
