Aberdeen Murray Johnstone Private Equity goes into extra time for £72m

Aberdeen Murray Johnstone Private Equity, the buy-out arm of Aberdeen Asset Management, has closed its latest fund at £72m (€103m) after 18 months of fundraising.

A spokeswoman for the firm said the fund was £12m larger than its last and had gained commitments from 10 new investors.
