Aberdeen's shares edge higher after outflows

Aberdeen Asset Management was one of the biggest risers in the FTSE 100 in early trading on January 27, despite reporting £9.1 billion in net outflows in the final three months of 2015 and the retirement of its chairman, Roger Cornick.

Shares in the fund management group jumped more than 5% from the previous day's close, reaching as much as 245p by 08.09 GMT, although they surrendered most of those gains to trade 0.1% higher at 233p by 13.00 GMT.
