Abertis sells UK's Luton Airport to Aena, AXA Private Equity

Abertis has been gradually exiting the airport management business and is focusing on other types of infrastructure, mainly toll roads

Abertis Infraestructuras has agreed to sell London's Luton Airport to Spanish airport operator Aena and AXA Private Equity in a deal that values the airport at €502 million, it said Thursday.

Abertis owns 90% of the UK's fifth-largest airport, while Aena already has a 10% stake through a holding company called TBI.
