The Association of British Insurers will launch proposals to ensure better protection for European corporate bond investors next month.

The UK trade body, which represents large investors in the euro and sterling corporate bond markets, will publish a paper on July 7 aimed at stimulating discussions between investors and debt issuers to establish a code of best practice.
