ABN Amro has hired a further four analysts to the 18 brought in two months ago. The bank lost a third of its analysts and sales staff in the first half of this year.

The Dutch bank has hired: James Williamson and Javier Lastra from Société Générale and Ian Andrews from UBS to its European beverages equity research team and Nick Moore from JP Morgan to European mining and metals. All start at the end of this month.
