ABN Amro has appointed Tristan Whittingham as a senior insurance analyst within its global financial markets credit research team.

Whittingham joins from Standard & Poor's (S&P), the international ratings agency, where he worked for five years and was responsible for a mixed portfolio across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Before that, he worked at Aon, the insurance company, and Guardian Royal Exchange.
