ABN Amro is competing with Interbanca, an Italian investment bank, over leading the IPO of Banca Antoniana Popolare Veneta, which is due in the second half of this year.

The Italian co-operative bank, known as Banca Antonveneta, is set to be listed on the Italian stock exchange once its half-year results have been announced.
