ABN Amro has hired Robert Kerr from Credit Suisse First Boston as it attempts to build its secondary market loans business.

Kerr, who was head of loans sales and trading at CSFB, becomes global head of loan distribution at ABN. This is a new position at the Dutch bank, in recognition that the secondary market is an increasingly important part of the loans business in Europe.
