ABN Amro has hired several senior analysts as part of a wide-ranging reorganisation of its research team, which includes replacing some analysts that have left in recent months.

The bank most recently hired Ed Westlake, a pan-European oil analyst, after some members of the oil team, including Myles McDougall, left the bank. Westlake will join ABN Amro in June from JP Morgan, where he was part of the oil research team that ranked 6th in the 2003 Institutional Investor European survey.
