ABN Amro Capital France will focus exclusively on mid-market leveraged buy-outs following its decision to merge its venture capital operation with Xange, the early stage venture arm of La Poste, the French national post office and banking group.

ABN Amro was one of the first banks in 1997 to offer Fonds Communs de Placement dans l'Innovation (FCPIs), a French retail investment product which provided tax rebates on funds invested and which was exempt from capital gains tax.
