ABN Amro Asset Management has entered the hedge fund arena with the Dublin-based ABN Amro Alternative Investment Fund umbrella.

The traditionally active Dutch fund management group, with $120bn under management, has created the Alternative Investment Group, a dedicated hedge fund team which will be run by Joanna Munro.
