ABN Amro has hired Edward Brown as head of loan distribution for Europe and Asia to replace Robert Kerr, who has retired.

Brown will be responsible for the distribution of all syndicated loans, including investment grade, leveraged, project finance, acquisition and emerging markets. The loan markets group is within credit markets which is part of the bank's financial markets business set up at the beginning of the year.
