ABN Amro joins the bulge in record Indian deal

ABN Amro joined Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs in advising on the $4bn (€4.7bn) merger of the cellular phone businesses of Birla AT&T Tata and BPL, India's biggest deal ever.

This is a triumph for ABN since it is only the firm's second announced telecoms deal this year, and by far the larger.
