ABN Amro Mellon has won the global custody mandate for the IR£1.4bn (€1.77bn) Irish Post Office pension fund, its first in Ireland.

The custody mandate will be managed from the bank's London operation, with support and input coming from parent Mellon's 50-strong Dublin office. It will provide core custody services, full investment accounting, compliance monitoring and cash management.
