ABN Amro has combined its research and sales teams under two co-heads less than a week after Mark Brown, global head of equity research, and Giles Fitzpatrick, head of European equities left the bank.

Alastair Barr and Hamish Dickson will jointly head the newly structured division. Barr was previously head of equities for Asia Pacific, while Dickson was head of European sales.
