Close Brothers Growth Capital, the combined private equity and debt provider, has hired Barrie Moore, who set up ABN Amro's mezzanine finance unit, as a director.

Moore joined ABN Amro Mezzanine in November 1997, and left as managing director at the beginning of last year. He has since been working as a consultant at Close Brothers Growth Capital but now takes on a full-time post.
