ABN Amro has hired two members of Deutsche Bank's highly rated fixed income strategy team, in a bid to build a new relative value research function.

Doug Higgins joins as a director and head of relative value research, a new unit within ABN's global financial markets business. He will co-ordinate the new team alongside the bank's existing fixed income research activities, as well as interest rate and derivative sales and trading.
