ABN Amro sets new 2001 high for Neuer Markt follow-ons

ABN Amro Rothschild has broken the record for the biggest Neuer Markt follow-on offer of the year just one day after Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) had set it.

The Dutch bank sold stock worth €80m ($68m) in Süss Microtech in three-and-a-half hours on Thursday, demonstrating that there is investor demand even for technology companies. The deal is more than twice the size of this week's earlier €36m offering for United Medical Systems International, managed by CSFB.
