ABN Amro Fund Managers has had to revise its 2003 target for assets under management from £500m to £1bn (€ 832m to €1.7bn) due to phenomenal interest in the last 12 months.
The Dutch bank broke into the UK arena when it bought the unit trust range from Carrington Pembroke in 1996, said Nick Wells, product and communications director. In March 1998, the group had £70m in assets under management when it re-branded under the ABN Amro label.
