Private equity firm Abraaj Capital has completed its acquisition of Aureos Capital and named Tom Speechley as chief executive of the firm. Speechley is currently a senior partner at Abraaj and is charged with overseeing Aureos' small and mid-cap assets under management. As part of the deal, Sev Vettivetpillai, executive chairman of Aureos, will join the executive committee of Abraaj.
