Abrdn is set to be ejected from the FTSE 100 — the second time in 12 months it has faced relegation from the UK’s premier index.

The £496bn Edinburgh-headquartered asset manager is on track to be demoted to the FTSE 250 at the end of August, according to FTSE Russell.
