Abu Dhabi in talks to attract 30 global hedge funds

Abu Dhabi’s financial centre is in talks with more than 30 hedge funds to help them set up in the Middle East.

“We are increasingly seeing more hedge funds setting up or exploring setting up a presence in Abu Dhabi Global Market,” Arvind Ramamurthy, chief of market development told Financial News. “The pipeline of potential new hedge funds that Abu Dhabi Global Market has been engaging with is more than 30.”
