Accenture axes diversity and inclusion goals 

The move comes as DEI initiatives in the City continue to be scaled down

Accenture will abandon its global diversity goals after an “evaluation” of US politics.

According to a memo seen by Financial News, the listed management consultancy’s chief executive Julie Sweet told staff it would be “sunsetting our global employee representation goals set in 2017, “sunsetting our career development program[me]s for people of specific demographic groups” and “pausing submissions to external diversity benchmarking surveys”.
