Accenture partners to net $2.6bn in share sale

Partners at Accenture, the management consultant spun off from the ill-fated Arthur Anderson, have filed for the sale of 90 million shares with the Securities and Exchange Commission in a deal that could raise $2.6bn.

Accenture itself will offer 10.2 million shares on top, with certain partners and former partners making up the other 90 million. Accenture shares have increased by 80% from their issue price of $14.5 to $29.42.
