Accounting regulator to crack down on exam cheaters after EY hit with $100m fine

The UK's accounting watchdog is turning up the heat on exam cheats, ordering the sector's biggest firms to explain how they are putting an end to the practice.

The Financial Reporting Council has written to the seven largest auditors, as well as the UK's accountancy professional bodies, asking them to set out what controls they have in place to stop cheating, and how they check they are working.
