One of the closest advisers to Deutsche Bank chief executive Josef Ackermann is leaving the bank.

Simon Pincombe, group head of corporate communications and Ackermann's special PR adviser and spokesman, will leave after almost a decade. Deutsche, which declined to comment, is expected to announce his departure this week.
