Josef Ackermann, chief executive of Deutsche Bank, has bowed to pressure within the bank and appointed the first co-heads of corporate and investment banking. As reported in Financial News 10 days ago, the two are Michael Cohrs and Anshu Jain.

Cohrs remains head of corporate finance and in addition becomes responsible for global banking and global transaction banking.
