Ackermann pledges to 'attack' market share

Deutsche Bank’s chief executive Josef Ackermann has said the German bank would increase its market share in the fallout from the global financial crisis as he spoke of a “recalibration” of its investment banking model.

Speaking at Morgan Stanley's European financial conference in London this morning, Ackermann said the bank would "attack market share" in business such as commodities, cash equities and prime brokerage.
