Activist investors seek changes to ITG board

Activist investors are pushing for changes to the board of Investment Technology Group, including the ouster of its chairwoman, after the brokerage firm paid $20.3 million to settle allegations of wrongdoing related to its “dark pool,” according to people familiar with the matter.

Philadelphia Financial Management of San Francisco and Voce Capital Management disclosed in a regulatory filing on November 12 that they had increased their combined stake in ITG to 8.6%.
