The London Stock Exchange Group has bowed to the demands of activist investor TCI Fund Management and agreed to call a shareholder vote on its future leadership.

The move comes a day after TCI's founder Sir Chris Hohn called for an extraordinary general meeting on its proposals to remove chairman Donald Brydon and terminate the search for a successor to CEO Xavier Rolet.
