Adams Street hunts up to $4.5bn for fresh credit fund

The firm’s third private credit vehicle will lend to private-equity-backed companies valued at $150m to $750m

Private markets investment manager Adams Street Partners is seeking as much as $4.5bn for its third private credit vehicle, according to public pension documents.

The Chicago-based firm is in the process of raising Adams Street Partners Senior Private Credit Fund III, the latest in its flagship series of private credit vehicles, according to public documents from the Kentucky Public Pensions Authority, which oversees roughly $21.6bn in investments.
