ADR perfomance levels off after previous year's plummet

New listing volumes for American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) appear to have stabilised, following a sharp decline since 2000, according to half-year data released on Thursday.

ADRs allow non-US companies to be traded on US exchanges and to raise cash through the sale of dollar-denominated securities.
