Advent International, the global buy-out house, has hired a partner for its German portfolio from JP Morgan's private equity team and a Dutch corporate executive to head its Polish office.

Georg Stratenwerth, a German national, joins the London team after 10 years at JP Morgan Partners, where he worked in London, New York and latterly its Munich office. He previously worked at Roland Berger & Partners and Mercer Management Consulting, both management consultancies.
