Uncertainty will hit investment in the UK – but senior private equity executives see long-term benefits of EU split too

The UK risks losing out on significant investment because of the uncertainty over Brexit, a top executive at Advent International has warned – but he and other senior private equity figures see long-term benefits too.

Speaking at the sidelines of the SuperInvestor conference in Amsterdam on November 16, James Brocklebank, a managing partner at Boston-based Advent, said that the uncertainty that Brexit has created means the UK will face "significant challenges" in the next two to three years.
