Venture group snares venture veteran

André Jaeggi, a high profile former managing director of Swiss fund of funds manager Adveq, has returned to private equity to become group chairman of a unique venture capital scheme aimed at spread directors’ risk.

Jaeggi has joined The Founders Club, which was launched last year to help individual shareholders in venture capital-backed companies share risk. It allows shareholders of venture-backed companies to pay 5% to 10% of their future personal returns from exits to one of the club's funds. This money is then distributed to other members of the scheme.
