CSFB, JP Morgan, Carnegie and Merrill Lynch are working on revived merger talks between Den norske Bank (DnB) and Gjensidige, the Norwegian banks.

Merger negotiations between DnB and Gjensidige collapsed last month, dealing a blow to advisers trying to put the deal together. Gjensidige said at the time that it was still interested in continuing discussions.
