Advisers line up for world's biggest ECM deal

The Australian government has drawn up a short-list of advisers for the planned A$30bn (€18.1bn) sale of shares in telecommunications company Telstra, in what is expected to be the world's biggest ever capital markets offering.

Simon Lewis, an Australian finance department official, told a parliamentary committee: "We're going into the second phase which is a request for proposals for those parties short-listed."
