Aegon Asset Management UK has hired Michael Nielsen as a structured products analyst covering derivatives and asset liability modelling. He will report to Anton Eser, head of structured products.

Aegon is looking to launch a liability-driven investment product next year to tap into increasing demand among pension funds for investment structures that guarantee they will be able to meet their obligations. Liability-driven investment relies heavily on the use of derivatives.
