Akin Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, the US law firm, has hired two new lawyers and relocated two partners from the US to London as it expands its newly established European financial restructuring practice.

David Billings and Daniel Walsh move to the firm's London office from the US to join Rey Stroube, global head of financial restructuring at Akin Gump, who relocated to London from New York in October.
